Tomorrow
The world of Education System is on the next journey of change. With such a situation where whole education and world of job scenario is going through the shift of paradigm, are we students, parents and teachers are ready for the future? Are we geared up to face the challenges and be able to compete with the rest of the world? Writes Prashant Barooah of NE Career Guidance.
The road-map for education in the 21st century should focus on developing our abilities to flourish in a world that is fundamentally diverse and unsurprisingly different. We in the North East should focus on knowledge creation through all possible information sources. We have to become a knowledge-generating society instead of a knowledge-absorbing society if we want to rise to the world standard as a society not only as few individuals. It

Judicial judgement In Assam
Hi, everybody > Hw do u feel to be an assamese ? Everybody loves their motherland. So do i.
But wats happening to Sivasagar ! The judicial judgement in Parag Das killing , really makes me feel proud to be a part of sivasagar. Sivasagar always had a name in the history of Assam , and now also it has its name but for all the wrongdoings.
Why is it so ? Civilians , intellectuals, beaurecrats, organisations ( assam has the third highest number of organisations in India), of Sivasagar r keeping their mouth shut.
Come on save ur motherland, we r not like the people of UP, Bihar or any other state.
We are Assamese n particulary from Sivasagar.

Assam Cultural University
Gyanpeeth award winner Dr. Mamoni Roisom Goswami laid the foundation
stone of the proposed Assam Cultural Univrsity at Chachal, Guwahati; a
much needed and long awaited project for the development of education
as a whole. This is an initiation of the Assam sahitya Sabha. The
university is categorically modelled on similar universities in China
and would provide educational the needs to the students mainly on
arts, humanities and social sciences. Though another legendary from the
state Dr. Bhupen Hazarika could the ceremony due to ill health, his
message was read out by the Sabha President Sri Kanak Sen Deka.
Meanwhile it is also learnt from that the university would start its
functioning in few months.
I certainly hope that the noble project of the Assam Sahitya Sabha
will be a success. Moreover I hope,it will establish itself as a world
univerisity for studying culture, art, society etc. Let all of us hope
for a better future that there rises the ray of hope in the education
