The premier Girls’ Secondary School in the district exclusively meant for women education was dedicated to the fond memory of Borraja Fuleswari Kuneari who had taken keen interest in educating the women folk as far back as the 18th century. The performance of the students from this school in H.S.L.C. and H.S.S.L.C. examination is consistently good. This school also received the award as the best institution in Vocational Education Programme in the year of 1997-98.
