For two decades he has won the hearts of millions of fans in the state. Angaraag Mahanta , aka Papon, is the new name
in the industry who has fan following not less than Zubeen in recent years

It is a great news for music fans of Assam that both Zubeen Garg and Angaraag Mahanta are featured in the
same bollywood flick "Dum Maro Dum" together. The movie "Dum Maro Dum" starring Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasha Basu
is one of the big banner movie of the year. It is produced by Ramesh Sippy and Directed by Rohn Sippy.
"Dum Maro Dum"s music director is Pritam Chakraborty. Pritam has previously given Zubeen his first bollywood hit
"Ya Ali" back in 2006. Zubeen Garg is the playback singer of a song titled "Jaana Hai", while Papon has given his voice in
the song "Jiyein Kaun". Both playback singing are solo and lyrics by Jaideep Sahni.
"Jaana Hai" and "Jiyein Kaun" are both slow numbers in the movie. Both the songs have very nice and soothing music. Pritam has
also taken care of the singers' original styles and the songs nicely reflect that.
