Joi Barua performing in Bangalore

The Assam Society of Bangalore organised Rongali Bihu for the Assamese community today in Bangalore in Indira Nagar, "The Beach". A gathering of few hundred Assamese youngsters on the occassion of the biggest festival of Assam along with the new voice of of the state Joi Barua, made the whole event successful.

The event spanning the whole afternoon included Assamese Lunch and performances by young talents of Bangalore. The main attraction of the event was Joi Barua, whose latest album is a craze among the young generation of Assam. The acoustic performance of the singer was memorable to everyone. His fans got a chance to experience singer's soft voice and style in real life.

Not many in numbers, but rich quality, Joi Barua sang songs of his favorite singer Jayanta Hazarika, apart his original numbers. His Tezimola and Aikon Baikon reverberated in the hearts if his fans in the hall. He also had a small interaction session with the audiences and fulfilled their requests. This event was also taken as an opportunity to launch the album "Joi - Looking Out of the Window" in Bangalore.
