Trishul was started as an entertainment magazine in 1978 from Jorhat. It became very
popular over the years not only for the entertainment news, but also for the fictions
published in this magazines in series. There are many detective , thriller, horror novels/ short stories
were published in Trihul from popular authors like Ranju Hazarika, Shantanu Tamuly, etc.
After completion of more than 25 years of successful publication, the magazine was discontinued
recently.
