Anuradha Sharma Pujari is one of the very popular writer of modern Assamese literature.
Her first novel 'Hridoy Ek Bigyapan'(1998) made a real mark to the Assamese readers.
Current Editor of the weekly newspaper 'Sadin', she has a long in her credit in last one decade of
Assamese journalism and literature.

Anuradha Sharma Pujari was born and brought up in Jorhat. She completed her high school
education in Jorhat. After that she moved to Dibrugarh University for Masters in Sociology and completed
successfully in 1987.
But her thrive for journalism rought her to Kolkata University, where she completed course on
Journalism in 1993. She also completed a course on Art and Film in Kolkata. She joined
as a teacher in Ctech institutes in Kokata. But after few years she came back to
Guwahati and joined 'Amar Axom' as a journalist. Later she joined 'Sadin' and currently working
as a editor of the same weekly newspaper.

Anuradha Sharma Pujari's first novel 'Hridoy Ek Bigyapan' was published in 1998. Based on her
experiences in media and advertising in Kolkata, this novel broke the popularity.
Another book 'Ejon Ishwaror Xondhanot' published the same year and became equally popular.
She immediately became a respected and popular name in Assamese Literature. Another
few novels of Pujari are 'Kanchan'(2001), 'Saheb Puraar Boroxun'(2003), 'Nahoror Niribili Saa'(2005).
Her short stories are paublished almost all of the popular literary journals of Assam.
'Boxontor Gaan' (1999), 'Ejon Oxamajik Kabir Biogrpahy'(2001), Autograph(2004) are collections of
her short stories.
'Kolikotar Sithi'(1999) and 'Diary'(2000) are collection of autobiography stories.
Translated articles of Anuradha Sharma Pujari were published in the 'Sahitya Academy' Journal
'Contenporary Indian Literature'. Her first novel 'Hridoy Ek Bigyapan' has been
trnaslated to English as 'Heart is Showbiz' by Dr. Abha Bhattacharya.
She has been awarded as the best novelist by 'Axom Sahitya Sabha' in 2003 for her novel
'Saheb Puraar Boroxun'.
